Hey! My name is Brenna Allen (formerly Brenna Magness). My husband I were married on July 7, 2024 on my family's farm.
I have lived in PA, FL, TX, VA, and I now reside in Sneads Ferry, NC. While I am currently based out of the coast of North Carolina, I am always looking for an excuse to visit my past homes. I also love to travel! So I am willing to go anywhere to take capture your moments!
I have loved photography for as long as I can remember.
I’m all about capturing real moments — the belly laughs, the quiet glances, the perfectly imperfect in-betweens. Whether it's your wedding day or just a Tuesday you want to remember forever, I bring a blend of artistry, intuition, and humor to every session.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can probably find me having a picnic, chasing sunsets, searching for a hidden oasis, fueling my artist crafts, or planning my next adventure. Nature, laughter, and a playful spirit are my favorite ingredients for a great shoot.
I love photographing people in nature — I believe God's creation is always the best location. Golden light pouring through trees, wind catching your hair just right, and big open spaces that invite joy and freedom. Chances are, I’ll have you run barefoot, spin in tall grass, or frolic through a field at least once.

my family's farm
I grew up in West Chester, PA on my family's farm. Walking through the fields playing with the horses and cows is where I fell in love with the outdoors. At 14 years old I was gifted my first camera and all I wanted to do was go on walks through the fields and take pictures of the animals. These walks with my camera became a frequent activity and slowly evolved into hiking and traveling with my camera. Nature photography was my first love and I still bring my camera gear with me everytime I travel (the whole suitcase worth of gear because I’m too afraid of not having the lens or equipment I’d like!)
Living on a working farm taught me so much and I am so grateful to have grown up in that environment. Oh how I love farm life! The hard work of it all is made worth it by the beauty and peace of the farm, there’s nothing quite like it. Sitting on fence posts watching the sun set over the hill, a slow summer breeze blowing the fragrance of the fresh cut hay – this was a staple of my life and some of my favorite moments. Today, walking through a lush green pasture with my camera is still my happy place.
My love of the outdoors shines brightly in my photography. My favorite place to do portrait sessions is an open field. If you book a session with me, chances are, I’ll have you frolic through a field at least once. Maybe along with some barefoot running and spinning in the tall grass. Not only will you get beautiful photos from our session but you'll have so much fun in the process!
